Reception area refurbishment works to commercial office building located in Glasgow’s financial district.

The Optima Building is a stunning 10 storey, 115,000ft² commercial office building set within the heart of the financial district of Glasgow's Broomielaw. Cosmos Projects were instructed by independent Property and Construction Consultant, p3 Consulting, following a competitive tender process, to undertake refurbishment works to the reception area of the building.

Work included installation of a new feature desk; alteration and redecoration of existing wall panel system; renewed flooring; installation of anti-slip coating to existing marble floor tiles; feature signage above new reception desk; and renewal and alteration to existing lighting throughout.

The majority of the work was done out with normal working hours to allow the building to remain in full operation throughout the period of works. This required the coordination of subcontractors from an operational point of view. Our client was delighted with our project management and the completed works.
