Following a competitive tender bid, Cosmos Projects were appointed to carry out structural stabilization works & installation of an insulated render system to the demolition exposed former party wall at Unit 3, 104-112 Sauchiehall Street for the owners of the property, Hathaway Opportunity Fund General Partner Ltd.

The project comprised the installation of an insulated render system (Enewall Insulation System) to the gable wall and associated repair works.

The exposed party wall bounds a vacant site where a building, the former Victoria’s nightclub, had recently been demolished due to fire. Once fixed access was in place, we assisted the design team with a condition survey of the existing party wall and assisted with the design of a permanent steel tie and restraint system. The works had to be put on hold for 11 weeks due to the COVID-19 lockdown. 

Our client and his team were delighted with our project management and the finished product.
